When: Saturday October 21st, 8 am - 4 pm
Where: 61 Carlton Street (Just south of Broadway) Winnipeg, MB R3C 1N7 (Dalnavert Museum Auditorium)
Join us for a day of learning and practicing the teachings of the Buddha. You can come for the morning, the afternoon or all day. There will be periods of meditation (silent and guided) as well as Buddhist teachings.
Everyone has the chance to take the Eight Precepts for the day.
Lunch is provided at no cost to participants. You can wear anything that is comfortable. Some people like to wear white, but this is totally optional.
We will have cushions and chairs to sit on, but if you have a cushion and a mat, please bring them along. The floor is uncarpeted.

What should I bring?
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes. Unless you are sick, we ask that you leave the top of your head uncovered. As a courtesy for others, please avoid very revealing clothes. Shorts are fine.
Can I come late/leave early?
We really like people to come for the start of the session so it doesn't disturb others and so all announcements can be heard. But we understand that difficulties arise and we wouldn't want anyone to skip coming just because they were going to be a little late or have to leave early.
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
