Waiting for installation of doors and windows before City of Winnipeg inspections.

Structural work has been started.

Ground-breaking Ceremony - April 2021 Update

Ground-breaking ceremony  was held on 10th April with the Venerable Monk's participation.  Due to the gathering restrictions, we had to limit the number of participants.  Donation opportunities will be published soon.

Construction will start soon - March 2021 Update

We are planning to start the construction in early April.  The construction has been awarded to  Foot by Foot Construction.

Approval of Permits- Zoning - Dec 2020 Update

We are happy to announce that the development permits for  the meditation hall has been approved by the City of Winnipeg.   The design has been done by Sputnik Architecture Inc., Winnipeg.   We acknowledge the support form Vic Giebrecht - Project Manager at Sputnik Architecture. ​The development project includes:
  • 1250 square feet of meditation hall
  • new public washrooms
  • entry hall
  • wheelchair ramp
  • renovation of monk's living space
  • dedicated fire fighting system
  • new parking lot
We are working with contractors to get the estimates.
