This is a great way to start your weekend with a spiritual practice and the knowledge of the supreme Buddha's wisdom. First, we do some chanting, then a short guided loving kindness meditation. Finally, we finish the program with a short reflection on the Buddha's teachings. There is always time afterwards to speak with the monks and ask your questions.

What people are saying...
"I have especially enjoyed the Friday night Pujas that I have attended. I find it very helpful in inspiring my spiritual practice and rewarding to spend that time with others who are on the same path. Especially after long, busy weeks, an evening with relaxing chants and talks about the Buddha's teachings is a great way to enter the weekend with a refreshed outlook."

Mindfulness In Buddha's Way - Sutta Study Session (Online Only)

1/8/2024

Welcome to*Path to Awakening: Mindfulness in the Buddha’s Way*!

Here, we embark on a journey into the heart of mindfulness as taught by the Buddha in the Pali Canon. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and accessible exploration of the ancient teachings that guide us toward liberation and inner peace.

At *Path to Awakening*, we delve into the suttas with clarity and reverence, ensuring that you receive the teachings just as they are, preserving their profound simplicity and transformative power.

Our primary focus is on the core suttas related to mindfulness, including the renowned
Maha Satipatthana Sutta— the Great Discourse on the Establishing of Mindfulness.

Through in-depth explanations and practical insights, we aim to make these ancient methods of liberation clear and relevant for contemporary practitioners.

Whether you are a seasoned meditator or new to the practice, our resources are designed to support your understanding and application of these timeless teachings.

Join us every
Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30
PM for a live Zoom session where we explore these teachings together, discuss insights, and engage in mindful practices.

Let’s deepen our understanding and practice of mindfulness in the Buddha’s way, and walk this path of awakening together.
